A number of these compositions were originally conceived as a response to the slowly transforming light works created by Yves Peitzner (yvespeitzner.com). Our original collaboration was called Timeless Spaces and this newer set of pieces called Spaces in Time extends on the idea of short reflective sound stories. Some pieces are mostly electronic, others use samples made from my instrument collection of bells, gongs and glasses. While there are no particular musical influences that I am aware of, Spaces in Time #6 references the work of Cliff Martinez and his beautiful score for Steven Soderbergh's film, Solaris.
