    Loops&Grooves 1-6 is a set of mallet ensemble pieces.requiring 3 - 6 players.

    In the time of covid-19 (2020), I had no access to my students nor the marimba and vibes required to play ensemble pieces. Thankfully I had worked with the sampling masters from Cologne, René Dohmen and Joachim Dürbeck (Cinematique Instruments) and together we had created the Fine Mallets Bundle using a Korogi 5 octave marimba and a 3 octave Musser Pro Vibe. These pieces were created using these virtual mallet instruments.

    The pieces are all notated and available for purchase via Bandcamp Merch - purchase of the score and parts includes the relevant track.

Loops&Grooves 1-6 combines mallets instruments (marimba and vibraphone) in different combinations.

All pieces use Cinematique Instrument's Fine Mallets Bundle using a sampled 5 octave Korogi marimba (courtesy of Tom O'Kelly and Just Percussion) and a sampled 3 octave Musser Pro vibraphone.
